BRANDING
Branding is one of, if not the, most important parts to establishing an organization’s identity. That’s why I continue to develop the skills to illustrate branding in the form of logos and social media posts.
The University of Tampa’s Mock Trial Club was looking to grow their membership by changing their branding to be more welcoming and spirited. I took inspiration from the branding of sports teams and created the logo that you see on the right. The club has used the design for three years now and it is featured in their print and online advertising.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Social Media has quickly become the main way to attract a variety of audiences to your product or organization. As a member of Generation Z, I have grown up with it and witnessed first-hand how it has adapted with the times.
I have used social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook to advertise my film work for years, but my main experience comes in the management of associated club accounts. The University of Tampa’s Mock Trial Club brought me on to manage their social media pages to further get the word out about their organization. Here, I worked to constantly post event dates and details with cute, eye-catching graphics.
VIDEO CONTENT
Video advertising projects is another important tool to promote a produce or organization. These projects can take the form of commercials on television or social media, or testimonials that operate as their own media.
I created a series of commercials for the University of Central Florida’s Knights Major Exploration and Transition Center. They were struggling with getting the word out about their office and wanted to use the projects to advertise online and on the University’s news programs. Through the commercials, they saw a notable increase in major exploring students visiting their office.
DIGITAL CAMPAIGNS
Digital Campaigns, like social media, can be an extremely effective tactic toward getting eyes on your organization or product.
The nonprofit Chronic Warriors Collective, which specializes in bringing hope to those with a Chronic Illness, wanted to gather more engagement to their ‘Pups with a Purpose’ holiday program. I helped them plan and create graphics for their digital campaign. This took place via social media posts and their online newsletter.
